Lipstick - 1-2 years lip gloss - 1 year lip liner - 1 year and balms - 1-2 years

Because lipstick, gloss and lip balms are formulated without water, bacteria growth is low, but these products are exposed to the mouth area and therefore can get contaminated.

Replace

After one year
If you’ve been sick, or have had a mouth/lip infection
If it smells stale, rancid, changes in texture, becomes hard and does not apply smoothly
If lip gloss becomes gloppy, very sticky, feels unpleasant to wear and won’t spread properly

Never share lipstick.

Extend the life: Apply with a clean brush if possible.
